Precision Products Architectural Model Building System
Precision Products are manufacturers of a styrene based scale building system which is both UV stable and weatherproof making it ideal for use outdoors.
In principle the structures are created from a styrene foam board which contains no paper layers and is in itself both UV stable and weatherproof. This simple structure is then "veneered" with a formed (embossed) styrene sheet of the detailed texture required. A wide range of common building materials such as brick, stone, texture, timber is available along with "detail" sheets of doors and windows. The detail sheets are available in both clear or white opaque material.
A variety of scales are available from HO(3.5mm) through to 1" to the foot (1:12) although all major stocks held here in the UK are based around the 1:24 scale. This particular series covers most of the models within the umberella of the garden scenic lines from 1:19 through to 1:29.

I & G Steam publish a small handbook with the permission of the manufacturer about this method of making large scale buildings to a high standard with the most elementary of modelling tools. The handbook contains a thumbnail of each of the designs as well which gives a visual representation of the detail on the sheets. This handbook is available free on request from us.
